OUR MISSION

The mission of CASA Glynn, Inc. is to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers from our community to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children.

Each year, over 500,000 children in the United States are thrust into court through no fault of their own.

Some are victims of violence, psycho-logical torment or sexual abuse. Others have been neglected or even abandoned by their own parents. Most of them are frightened and confused.

A complex legal network of lawyers, social workers, and judges work tirelessly to try to give these children the attention they deserve – but the children are often frightened and confused.

Some of the stories are painful, making the need for advocacy for the child even more compelling. They need a voice that can be heard in the court.
